Scott Maclean, LPC Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a graduate of Montclair State University earning a Master’s degree in Counseling. Since obtaining his Master’s degree he has worked in a variety of mental health settings that include adult and adolescent inpatient, adult and adolescent residential settings, community mental health and has been in the role of the executive director for community based non-profit organizations. Scott is a client centered clinician who works with individuals, couples, and families and has training in family systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and is trauma informed with training in use of EMDR. He believes that the creation a safe, trusting, genuine, and understanding environment, will result in an strong client alliance where the individual and/or family can openly talk about their challenges, strengths and goals.
