Neysa Etienne, LAMFT Neysa Etienne is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of NJ, with a Masters in Psychological Services and Professional Diploma in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kean University. Neysa has over 20 years of diverse experience working in the mental health field. Her experience includes providing therapy services in traditional outpatient centers, partial hospitalization programs and via telehealth. She also has experience working in school, community and hospital settings. Neysa has lead comprehensive school-based mental health programs and provided support to students, families and staff. She was also a hospital emergency room mental health screener for many years, which has provided her with experience in working with client’s in crisis, assessing for safety and assisting with stabilization.
Neysa applies a strength-based approach, helping to empower clients to identify existing strengths and develop additional coping skills to improve quality of life and restore balance. Neysa utilizes and is skilled in CBT, mindfulness, solution focused and trauma informed care. Member of the Traumatic Loss Coalition and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
