Melissa Mariani, MSW, LCSW 
Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey with a Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelors of Arts from Rider University. Melissa has 5 years of experience working in the clinical mental health field. She has experience working in private practice, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs. She has experience in providing therapy in group and individual settings. Melissa has experience treating clients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, schizo-affective, paranoia, behavioral concerns, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Melissa subscribes to a strengths-based, trauma informed approach. Her therapeutic orientation includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and mindfulness techniques. She takes a collaborative approach with clients and believes in the therapeutic relationship being a partnership to empower clients to achieve their goals.
