Jill Burns, LCSW Jill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working in the counseling profession for over 22 years, with the last 17 years in private practice. Jill works with children, adolescents, and adults in helping them achieve balance in their lives. She creates a safe and empowering environment where the client has the opportunity to explore areas of their lives, gain insight, awareness, and develop new coping patterns. These new learned patterns promote growth and healing. She has an extensive background working with: life stressors, life transitions, stressful relationships, family conflict, school / work issues, divorce, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, trauma, grief/ loss, codependency, and attachment issues. Jill uses an eclectic approach tailored to meet the client’s needs including cognitive behavioral therapy, strengths-based, attachment-based and psychodynamic therapy.
