Holly Aschoff, LCSW Holly Aschoff, LCSW, ACS, has been with Lakeside for over eight years and works alongside a dynamic team of therapists dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care. She provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults experience in a wide range of mental health conditions, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and personality disorders.
Holly brings extensive experience in the treatment of substance use disorders and domestic violence and has worked with diverse populations across multiple levels of care. She is well-versed in trauma-informed treatment and specializes in the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). She also utilizes Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) in the treatment of OCD.
Her clinical approach integrates evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and I-CBT. Holly is committed to helping clients develop practical skills, increase emotional resilience, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to her clinical work, Holly is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and provides clinical supervision to professionals pursuing licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs). She is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of clinicians and supporting their professional growth, clinical competence, and ethical practice.
Holly earned her Master of Science in Social Work from the Columbia University School of Social Work, graduating cum laude from the Advanced Standing Program with a concentration in School-Based Mental Health. She meets the educational requirements established by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) for the assessment and treatment of substance use disorders. Holly is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care and creating a therapeutic environment where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered throughout their healing journey.
