Dana Capitelli, LAC Dana is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor with a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William Paterson University. She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples navigating a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-esteem issues.
Dana takes an eclectic and collaborative approach to therapy that is deeply rooted in person-centered principles. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and comfortable exploring life’s challenges. Drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and interventions focused on emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthy coping strategies, Dana tailors treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
